QUEEN info & rules
The Louisa County Fair Queen Contest is a long-standing tradition at the Louisa County Fair for 16-21-year-old (by the 1st day of the Iowa State Fair) young ladies that are active in their communities - these ladies must live, attend a school or conduct the majority of their activities in Louisa County. There is NO ENTRY FEE to compete in the Louisa County Fair Queen Contest.
The Louisa County Fair Queen goes on to compete at the Iowa State Fair during Queens Week starting the Tuesday prior to the start of the Iowa State Fair each year. There are more than 100 contestants in the Iowa State Fair Queen Contest and it is a life-changing experience for each of the ladies who are lucky enough to compete.
The Queen, Junior Queen & Princess Contests will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021 (location TBD). Coronation of the LCF Queen, Jr. Queen & Princess will be held at the Fairgrounds during the Fair!

Contestant Paperwork
**Annual Deadline: JUNE 20th**
Please complete the Queen Registration Form on this website. Then you MUST COMPLETE the following paperwork and checklist requirements and turn it in no later than JULY 20th.
FAIR QUEEN CONTESTANT PACKET (PDF)
Queen Receives: $500 scholarship, cash award, crown, sash, trophy, flowers & numerous gifts from sponsors and the LCF Queen Program.
1st Runner-up (given with 5+ contestants): $100 cash, trophy, flowers.
2nd Runner-up (given with 7+ contestants): $75 cash, trophy, flowers.

Overall Academic Award: Trophy
Academic Achievement (3.5+): Framed Award
People's Choice: Framed Award
Each Queen Contestant Receives: Tiara, sash, certificate, t-shirt & numerous gifts from our sponsors and the LCF Queen Program.
